Frankfurt have reportedly paid a fee between €7-10m for the stopper.

“I said in the Spring that I feel very good in Frankfurt and with Eintracht,” the goalkeeper told the club’s website.

“The time in Paris was very exciting for me, successful and a great experience. Now I’m coming back home, completely, and I want to achieve a lot with Eintracht.”

Trapp originally played for the Eagles from 2012 to 2015 before he was signed by PSG.

Last season, after Gianluigi Buffon arrived in the French capital, he returned on loan.

Now he will continue his career with the Bundesliga club.
