The report adds that Zlatan – who has temporarily returned to Sweden – wants a project to ‘motivate him’ rather than just another pay-check.

Ibrahimović has enjoyed an outstanding career, playing across Europe for teams such as Barcelona, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and both Milan clubs.

On the international stage, the veteran striker represented Sweden 116 times and scored 62 goals – a record for his country.
