Raúl Jiménez is happy at Wolves despite the fact “several teams” could be sniffing around him this summer.

Jiménez joined the Midlands outfit on an initial loan from Benfica last summer and his 17 goals in 44 games convinced the club to spend €38m on signing him permanently.

And now the Mexican striker’s father has revealed that while a number of foreign clubs have expressed an interest in signing the 28-year-old, he is happy to stay at Molineux.

“There are several teams, even from other countries that are interested, but Raúl is fine,” Raúl Jiménez Vega told Fox Sports Latin America.

“He is comfortable, it is due to Wolverhampton and we will be there, he bet on this proposal and fortunately it was the best.”

Jiménez ended the season by being named Wolves’ Players’ Player of the Year and is expected to be named in the Mexico squad for this summer’s CONCACAF Gold Cup.
