Wolves are reportedly ready to beat Manchester United to the signing of highly-rated Monaco defender Benoit Badiashile.
Badiashile made his name at the principality side last season, with the 18-year-old impressing in a mixed season for Leonardo Jardim’s men.
United watched the teenager on a number of occasions and had been keen on making a move during this window.
But according to L’Equipe, Nuno’s side are set to beat them to his signature, with the Midlands club ready to take the centre-back on a season’s long loan before buying him for €35m in 12 months time.
The ‘try before you buy’ method of signing has worked well for Wolves recently, with Raul Jimenez, Diogo Jota, Willy Boly and Leander Dendoncker all coming to Molineux in that way.
