On Tuesday, the Wolves medical staff provided key injury updates on Adama Traoré, Morgan Gibbs-White and Willy Boly.
Traoré was set to feature for Spain for the first time this international break but pulled out of the squad for their Euro 2020 qualifiers against Malta and Romania due to a hamstring injury.
Meanwhile, Gibbs-White has been suffering from back issues and has not featured since Wolves’ 2-0 win over Watford at the end of September.
“In terms of the players who were meant to be on international duty, the only player who has been pulled out is Adama Traoré, who had a problem with his right hamstring during the second-half on Sunday,” Wolves head of medical Phil Hayward told the club’s website.
“He is currently having treatment at Compton.
“Morgan Gibbs-White continues to undergo treatment for his lower back complaint and he is making steady progress, although is yet to train with the group.”
Hayward also discussed Boly’s progress, who underwent surgery on his fractured left fibula, which he injured against Newcastle two weeks back.
“Willy Boly is progressing well following his surgery,” said Hayward. “He is now two weeks post-op and has had the stitches removed.
“He is still non-weight bearing and on crutches but is working hard in the pool and in the gym to maintain his fitness.”
