Wolves have reportedly stepped up their interest in Marseille’s Morgan Sanson and are willing to spend €25m on the midfielder.
The Midlands side have qualified for next season’s Europa League and as such are on the hunt for European quality to bolster their already impressive squad.
Sanson has been on their radar for a while but the Express and Star say that the club have now lodged an official offer to the Ligue 1 giants.
Telefoot revealed last month that a verbal agreement between the player and Wolves had been in place since April, so a deal does not look too far from completion.
Marseille are under pressure to sell their stars this summer following Financial Fair Play regulations.
