As Wolverhampton Wanderers get ready to face Manchester United on Monday afternoon, one member of the Wolves is not impressed by Harry Maguire and sees his trio of centre-backs as more reliable than the £85m defender.

Forward Diogo Jota had Maguire’s number last time the two faced off as the Portuguese bagged a hat-trick over Maguire and Leicester 4-3 back in January.

“I think Harry Maguire has a lot of quality,” said Jota. “But I know the players we have in our team and I trust them more than Maguire.”

Maguire’s performance in that Wolves match in January was dismal, but the newly minted Red Devil will look to put the past behind him and get a much-needed win versus Wolves on Monday, a team whose had their number the last two time they met under the lights at Molineux last season.
