Campana has scored four goals and laid on three assists in 21 appearances for his club this season, and has also played four times for the senior Ecuador side.

The teenager is unlikely to be available for selection to Nuno Espirito Santo immediately however, as he will be representing his nation in the CONMEBOL Pre-Olympic Tournament.

If Ecuador and Campana are successful, it would mean he would be on international duty until at least February 9.

This would be Wolves’ first signing of the January transfer window.
