We are rapidly approaching the end of the Bundesliga season and the futures of three of Bayern Munich’s most senior players are still very much up in the air.

Arjen Robben, Franck Ribéry and Jérôme Boateng are all expected to leave the club this summer, but where could they end up?

Boateng came close to leaving Bayern last summer but ended up staying in Bavaria when Paris Saint-Germain were unwilling to cough up the €50m asking price for the defender.

The 30-year-old has recently spent a period on the sidelines due to a knee injury but is expected to be fit and available for the end of season run-in.

But with Lucas Hernandez and Benjamin Pavard both joining the club this summer, Boateng is expected to leave and according to German outlet Fussball News, Juventus have recently expressed an interest in his services.

There is a chance that Ribéry could still end up staying at Bayern.

The 36-year-old’s current contract is set to expire in June but the Frenchman’s family reportedly want to stay in Munich and he could still be offered an extension.

But if he does leave, he has apparently so far received offers from clubs in Australia and Qatar.

One player who will definitely be ending his long association with Bayern at the end of the season is Robben.

The Dutchman will not be offered a new contract and could return to Groningen or PSV Eindhoven – his two former clubs back in the Eredivisie.

According to reports, Robben has also received an offer to join MLS club Toronto FC.

But there is still a possibility that the 35-year-old could decide to retire from football altogether.

He has so far made just nine Bundesliga appearances this season, totalling 539 minutes of football.
