What Robert Snodgrass is alleged to have said to get his one-game ban | OneFootball

Robert Snodgrass has been handed a one-game ban for insulting an anti-doping official.

The incident took place when UK Anti-Doping officers visited West Ham’s training ground in February.

On Tuesday, the FA confirmed that the winger has been banned for a game and handed a £30,000 fine.

“His language and/or behaviour towards UK Anti-Doping officials was abusive and/or improper,” read an FA statement.

According to a report in the Daily Mail, the Scotland international earned the ban for an insulting comment.

“Haven’t you got anything better to do you fucking cunt?” Snodgrass is alleged to have said.

It is also reported that Snodrgass was not selected for testing, nor did he refuse to be tested on the day in question.

The ban has been suspended while the former Norwich City man considers his right to appeal.
