West Ham director of football Mario Husillos made a horrific decision to bring in goalkeeper Roberto from Espanyol, and he may have to pay for that decision (amongst others) with his job.

Roberto has had a terrible spell with West Ham, surrendering 15 goals in seven games while making a number of errors, and is now far and away their third-choice option behind back-up David Martin.

According to the Guardian, West Ham will attempt to move Roberto and his £30,000-a-week contract to Turkey if a club is willing to pay his wages in full.

Ideally they would like to sell the player, but the Hammers are said to not be confident that they could fetch a transfer fee for the player, who has 18 months left on his current deal.

In the seven Premier League games Roberto featured between the sticks, West Ham picked up a total of two points.
