On Friday, West Ham announced central midfielder Moses Makasi will join League Two side Stevenage on loan for the rest of the season.

The 23-year-old has yet to make a first-team appearance with the Hammers, despite coming through their academy.

The U-23 captain spent the second half of last season on loan at League One side Plymouth Argyle, where he scored a goal en route to a seventh-placed finish, three points behind the Charlton Athletic for the final promotion play-off place.

“Moses is a good footballer and I am really pleased we have been able to get this one over the line,” Stevenage boss Dino Maamria told the Stevenage website.

In six Premier League 2 appearances, Makasi has scored once and added two assists.
