West Ham look set to put out a significantly stronger side this weekend against Watford than the one that stumbled to a 1-1 draw with Brighton.
After missing out on last weekend’s away trip to the Amex with a swollen knee, club-record signing Sébastien Haller is back in full first-team training.
Joining him on Wednesday was winger Felipe Anderson, who appears set to return after being dropped from Manuel Pellegrini’s side last weekend with a thigh issue.
Captain Mark Noble is also set to make his season debut at Vicarage Road as he returned to training after recovering from a calf injury of his own.
Last season, West Ham lost 2-0 at home against the Hornets in December but won 4-1 away in the final match of the season as Noble smashed a crucial brace.
