The 25-year-old Demirbay, who has two caps to his name, arrived from Hamburg in 2016 for €1.5m and has been one of the Bundesliga’s brightest midfielders ever since.

Since moving to Hoffenheim, Demirbay has scored 12 goals and added 25 assists in 85 matches in all competitions, including four goals and nine assists this season.

It’s believed that Demirbay, who is also being sought after by Arsenal, has a release clause in his contract of €25m.
