According to Sport Bild, West Ham have targeted 24-year-old winger Benito Raman.
The Belgian arrived in Germany from native side Standard Liège over the summer for just €1.5m and has been an absolute star for the 10th-place Bundesliga side, who have enjoyed an unexpected second-half turnaround this season.
Raman has scored 10 goals and has contributed four assists in 26 games in all competitions this season and is a capped Belgium U-21 international.
According to the report, West Ham, in addition to several other English clubs, want to bring in Raman for about €15m this season.
Raman is under contract with the Bundesliga club until 2022.
