After the successful return of goalkeeper Darren Randolph to replace Alavés-bound Roberto, West Ham are set to continue to strengthen their squad for the second half of the season.
According to Football Insider, the Hammers have made signing an additional central midfielder their number one priority, while also focusing on finding an attacker and a full-back.
The report goes on to say that any signings that do occur will not be finalised until the end of the January window.
West Ham have allegedly made bids so far for Stoke City’s Joe Allen and Genk’s Sander Berge, while their initial loan bid for Chelsea’s Ross Barkley has been rejected.
However, the Hammers will not give up their pursuit and reportedly plan to make a new offer next week.
