Speaking ahead of Millwall’s FA Cup fourth round clash with Watford on Sunday, the former England striker admitted he wanted to play for the Lions at the beginning and end of his career.
As fate would have it, he went on to break into the Crystal Palace side at the age of 22 and scored 117 times for the Eagles, including one in the 1990 FA Cup Final, before joining Arsenal in 1991.
