Fluminense earned a deserved late draw through Pedroâs 89th-minute equaliser, as the 21-year-old continues to show his quality in the 2018 BrasileirĂŁo.
The Rio native scored his seventh goal of the competition to bring Fluminense to 15 points after 13 matches, temporarily placing themselves in 12th place.
Vasco missed out on a chance to leapfrog rivals Botafogo and now sits on 16 points after 12 matches.
AndrĂ© RĂos opened the scoring for Vasco da Gama in the 61st minute, capitalising on an error by Fluminense goalkeeper JĂșlio CĂ©sar, whose punch could have gone anywhere else⊠but errantly landed at the feet of RĂos.
Fluminense were the better side the whole match and finally got their equaliser with just with just a few minutes left on the clock.
