Unai Emery has made nine changes for Arsenal’s clash with Sporting on Thursday evening.
The Gunners can qualify for the last 32 of the Europa League with a win tonight, but they will have to do so with a much-changed XI.
The north London outfit impressed in their draw with Liverpool last weekend but the Spanish tactician has opted for a whole nine alterations to his starting side.
The only two that remain from the draw with Jürgen Klopp’s men are Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Rob Holding.
It means that Petr Čech comes starts in goal with Carl Jenkinson getting a rare outing at left-back.
Soon to be departed Aaron Ramsey is at the base of the midfield with youngster Emile Smith Rowe in attack.
Danny Welbeck leads the line after his winning performance in the reverse fixture between these two a fortnight ago.
