Is everyone enjoying their weekend? Is everyone looking for the latest transfer gossip?
Well, you’re in the right place.
Here we are with our latest transfer gossip round up as you gear up for your Sunday.
It wouldn’t be a new day of January 2018 without some new reports on Alexis Sánchez. According to the Telegraph, Manchester United will have to pay £10m in agent’s fees to sign the Chilean. They have reportedly given him until Friday to decide where he wants to move.
There’s a fire sale going on at Alexis’ former club Barcelona.
Looking to recoup funds after signing Philippe Coutinho, the LaLiga leaders are looking to raise up to €66m by selling Aleix Vidal, Rafinha, Gerard Deulofeu and Javier Mascherano. Arda Turan has already left the club.
Also leaving Spain is Nico Gaitán, who hasn’t has the best of times with Atlético Madrid. Correiro dello Sport says he has an agreement in place to join Inter.
Lastly, Borussia Dortmund are set to spend big on a defender. Swiss newspaper Blick has revealed a €21.5m deal has been agreed for FC Basel‘s Manuel Akanji, who missed training on Saturday.
The Sunday Express clearly enjoyed their Saturday a bit too much: they write that Neymar has been earmarked by Manchester United as the perfect gift for José Mourinho. Yeah, ok then.
Once more, Alexis Sánchez features here. The Mirror say Liverpool are trying to muscle their way into the battle for his services but we can’t see that happening.
Still enamoured with his abilities as a player and double Champions League success as a manager, Marca say Real Madrid will allow Zinedine Zidane to stay as long as he likes.
Isn’t that nice?
Arda Turan finally left Barcelona, joining Turkish Süper Lig leaders Istanbul Basaksehir on an initial two-and-a-half year loan.
