It’s 1 January, and you know what that means?
Yep, the transfer window is open again, and here’s the first batch of rumours of 2019.
Italian outlet Tuttosport claim Juventus have offered Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey a deal worth €150,000-a-week to join them on a free transfer at the end of the season.
But the BBC say Ramsey will also hold talks with Bayern Munich, Inter, PSG and Real Madrid before making a decision on his future.
Chelsea have rejected an offer worth €45m from Bayern for 18-year-old forward Callum Hudson-Odoi, according to Sky Sports.
Meanwhile, Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham – who is currently on loan at Aston Villa – is wanted by Wolves, Huddersfield, Burnley and Crystal Palace, say the Mail.
And 19-year-old Liverpool midfielder Bobby Adekanye is close to joining Lazio, report Corriere dello Sport.
Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot has no interest in joining Tottenham because they are “below his level”, say ESPN.
PSG want to sign a replacement for Rabiot this month, and they have their eye on Watford’s Abdoulaye Doucouré and Borussia Dortmund’s Julian Weigl, according to the Guardian.
The Sun claim Chelsea are ready to withdraw their interest in Real Madrid midfielder Isco.
The Sun also reckon Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford will reject any offer to join Real Madrid as he wants to stay at Old Trafford.
Manchester United want to sign a central defender this month, and that central defender could be Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly. According to the Guardian, the Senegalese could cost as much as €120m!
Manchester City will replace Real Madrid-bound Brahim Díaz with another Spanish starlet – 15-year-old Oscar Tarensi, who currently plays for Espanyol. That’s according to Sport.
And Mesut Özil won’t leave Arsenal in January because the former Germany international is determined to stay and fight for his place at the Emirates.
