Alexis Sánchez will decide his next club “within the next 48 hours”, Arsène Wenger said on Sunday.

According to Goal, Manchester City have pulled out of the race for his signature and he is free to join Manchester United, who are reportedly offering him a deal worth around £400,000-a-week.

The Guardian say a deal between the clubs could be worth around £3om, with a player also moving from Old Trafford to the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal reportedly remain keen on signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Chelsea could still strike a shock loan move for Andy Carroll, write the Telegraph. The West Ham striker would take the place of Michy Batshuayi, who is expected to join Sevilla.

Liverpool‘s attempts to replace Philippe Coutinho have hit another stumbling block as the Times have revealed they won’t be signing Thomas Lemar. AS Monaco’s £90m asking price has been deemed unreasonable.

Could Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang really be on his way out of Borussia Dortmund? Reports in Germany say all signs point to the exit door after he missed Dortmund’s Bundesliga game on Sunday. According to the Telegraph, those signs point towards Arsenal…

…who are also still interested in Bordeaux winger Malcom. The Guardian say talks took place between the clubs over the weekend. The likely fee is £40m but Bordeaux are desperate to keep the Brazilian until the end of the season.
