Toulouse president Olivier Sadran has launched a scathing attack on Barcelona for their conduct after signing Jean-Clair Todibo.

Barça announced on Tuesday that Todibo would join them in July as a free agent, leaving the French side in the dark over what happens until then.

Sadran insists the LaLiga leaders did not “behave like a big club” and regrets how the 20-year-old seemingly had his head turned.

“They haven’t behaved like a big club,” he told L’Equipe. “It’s extraordinary: they declare the player will be with them in July, but nobody knows what will happen before then.

“Life can spring surprises on you, even the most uncomfortable ones. It shows their arrogance and it’s simply insulting. They got in the head of a young boy.

“From a big club, it’s not very gracious, even if legally they had the right to do it. We also deserve some of the responsibility.”

Todibo reportedly had offers from Manchester City and Real Madrid but revealed Barcelona were ‘the only option in his mind’.
