Tottenham youngster Reo Griffiths looks set to stay at the club despite interest from several Bundesliga clubs.

The 17-year-old is seen as one of the brightest prospects at Spurs, having scored well over 30 goals for the Under-18 side last term.

The teenage striker though was concerned about his pathway to the first team with Harry Kane well ahead of him in the pecking order.

As with many young, English professionals at the moment, an escape to Germany looked on the cards with RB Leipzig believed to be keen on his signature.

However, the London Evening Standard understands that Griffiths will sign his first pro contract in the coming weeks to ward off any interest from other teams.

The goalscorer will be promoted to the Under-23 team before, potentially, being given a chance in the senior side.
