Tottenham will have to pay £63m to land Lyon's Tanguy Ndombele | OneFootball

Lyon have told Tottenham they will have to pay £63m if they want to sign midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.

That’s according to a report from Sky Sports as Spurs look to strengthen their side after falling to Liverpool in the Champions League final.

Ndombele was spectacular last season and doled out seven assists to help lead Lyon to a third-placed Ligue 1 finish.

Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked to the 22-year-old, though Spurs are widely considered to be the frontrunners to land Ndombele.

Over the weekend, the four-time France international praised Spurs and confirmed he’s interested in making the move to Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

“It’s true that Tottenham are a great team – a big club. They finished fourth in their league, they were finalists in the Champions League.

“They finished fourth in their league and went to the final of the Champions League.

“Which player wouldn’t be interested by a big club?”

After spending a year with Lyon on loan from Amiens, the French outfit bought the midfielder outright last summer for just £7m.
