Tottenham are reportedly set to ramp up their interest in Bournemouth midfielder Lewis Cook in January.

The north London club made an initial approach last summer for the 21-year-old over the summer but we knocked back by the Cherries who rejected their €15m bid.

However, according to several sources, including the Mirror, Mauricio Pochettino’s men will go back for Cook during the winter window as they look to bolster their midfield options for the second half of the campaign.

It’s claimed that Spurs are on the lookout for a replacement for the outgoing Mousa Dembélé who’s contract at the club is set to expire at the end of the season.

Cook has slowly become one of the Premier League’s most underrated players and has started 10 times for the south coast club so far this term.
