Tottenam are reportedly set to play a handful of matches at Wembley next season after delays to the new White Hart Lane.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men played the whole of 2017/18 campaign at the national stadium whilst their old home was completely re-done at the cost of €950m.
There have however, been delays to the construction, and the north London club have taken up an option with Wembley to play a ‘handful of matches’ there at the start of next term.
There has been no confirmation from the club as to the exact amount of matches they will play there, but The Times have revealed that the Premier League will allow Spurs to have their first three games away from home, and then an unspecified amount at Wembley.
It’s reported that Tottenham hope to be in their new home by the fifth round of matches, which takes place on September 15.
