Tottenham are reportedly interested in Barcelona midfielder André Gomes after his impressive performances for Everton at the start of this season.
The Portugal international has impressed in his first few months at Goodison Park but is only with Marco Silva’s side until the end of the campaign.
As such, it looks like there could be a bidding war for the midfielder come the summer, with Spurs apparently very keen on taking him to north London.
Barça are more than willing to listen to offers for Gomes and are, according to the Telegraph, thought to be looking for around €40m for the former Valencia man.
Everton boss Marco Silva, when asked about potential interest in the 25-year-old, has claimed that they will wait until the end of the campaign to even think about the player’s future.
“His future isn’t in our hands or even in Andre’s. We’re going to wait until we can talk about a deal,” he said.
