Tottenham move for Fenerbahçe midfielder Eljif Elmas

Tottenham have made an enquiry over Fenerbahçe midfielder Eljif Elmas.

That’s according to Turkish sources, who claim that Spurs have scouted the 19-year-old on three separate occasions and have begun discussing a potential move with Fenerbahçe.

The North Macedonian international is said to be available for €20m, though the Turkish outfit has absolutely no desire to sell the player as he is currently contracted to the club until 2022.

Elmas established himself as a regular this season, making 40 appearances in all competitions while impressing on the Europa League stage, where he started every match he was available.

Spurs are not the only club that crave his signature, as Napoli, Fiorentina, Inter, Lazio, Borussia Dortmund, and Atletico Madrid are all believed to have reached out to Fenerbahçe over the teenager’s future.
