Tottenham in the running for Bayer Leverkusen star Julian Brandt

Bayer Leverkusen ace Julian Brandt has a release clause of just €25m, which has big clubs from all around the world salivating for his signature.

According to the Daily Mail, Mauricio Pochettino and Tottenham are very interested in the 24-time German international, who is currently ranked third in the Bundesliga with 11 assists to go along with his six goals.

Brandt could be a perfect cut-rate replacement for Christian Eriksen, as the Dane is heavily rumoured to be moving on this summer.

Eriksen’s contract expires next summer and he’s been linked to both Barcelona and Real Madrid.

The 23-year-old has scored 41 goals and contributed 51 assists in 214 games since his arrival from Wolfsburg in 2014.
