Tottenham are reportedly ready to press ahead with a summer move for Fulham defender Ryan Sessegnon.

Sessegnon made 38 appearances last season, but couldn’t replicate his Championship form as Fulham were relegated in April.

According to Mirror Football, Spurs are long term admirers of the 19-year-old and could even bid €30m for his signature.

Mauricio Pochettino views Sessegnon as a natural successor for Danny Rose who continues to cloud his future in doubt.

“I don’t know what the future holds,” he told Sky Sports. “If I’m back at Tottenham next season, great, if I’m not – great.

“It’s no secret that my name has been mentioned quite a few times, in terms of players moving.

“I’ll be just sitting tight. Either way I’m prepared for whatever happens.”

Sessegnon – who has one year left on his current deal – will not sign a new extension with Fulham.
