Tottenham are reportedly considering Joachim Andersen and Nathan Aké as their potential replacements for Toby Alderweireld.
Alderweireld will be available for €25m this summer (provided that his transfer is completed at least 14 days fore the close of the transfer window), with the club already resigned to losing him.
And according to Mail Sport, Andersen and Aké have been identified as the standout candidates by Mauricio Pochettino and his scouting team.
Andersen has been a standout performer for Sampdoria and excels in his distribution – in a similar way to the Belgium defender.
Aké presents a slightly different option but can switch between centre back, left back and left wing back as needed, which suits Spurs’ flexible style.
Both players are expected to cost €40m, with north London rivals Arsenal also pursuing the former.
