Tottenham Hotspur are one step closer to signing Lucas Moura after agreeing a fee with Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday.
According to Sky, Spurs have struck a deal to pay the Ligue 1 leaders £25m for the Brazilian.
Lucas has made just five Ligue 1 appearances – all from the bench – this season following the signings of Neymar and Kylian Mbappé.
PSG are happy to sell the winger, who has won 36 caps for Brazil, as they strive to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations. The Parisien club are already under investigation by Uefa.
The transfer deadline is at 11pm on Wednesday evening in England but Spurs are playing Manchester United in the Premier League the same evening.
That game will not be over until around 10pm, so the club will hope to finalise a deal on Tuesday.
Since joining PSG in 2013, the 25-year-old has scored 45 goals in 228 appearances.
