Roofe has been one of Marcelo Bielsa’s star performers so far this season, scoring four and assisting a further two goals in six appearances.

Those sorts of performances have attracted the attention of a number of top-tier clubs, with one report stating that a trio of sides in the Premier League are keen on his services.

The Yorkshire side are loathed to lose one of their key men as they bid to return to the first division and are currently in contract talks with the player’s representatives.
