Adrien Rabiot’s contract expires this summer but PSG may have some decisions to make if he doesn’t leave in the January window.

PSG have been thin in the midfield this season and PSG boss Thomas Tuchel could bring Rabiot back into the squad next month.

Rabiot was banished from the first-team indefinitely last month after he refused to sign a new deal.

“It’s not possible to reinstate him in January, because a lot of things can happen,” Tuchel said on Friday.

“If he doesn’t leave, I am open to everything, but that will depend on many things.

“He trains very well but the situation between Rabiot and the club is complicated and it’s necessary to wait.”

Rabiot’s agent/mother Veronique has stated that the situation has ‘completely deteriorated’ and that there is ‘no going back’.

Barcelona have been the front-runners to land Rabiot this summer, with wide reports stating that the 23-year-old had agreed to a €10m-per-year deal with a €10m signing bonus.

However, reports came out on Thursday which revealed Bayern could hijack their deal and bring him in this month.
