PSG coach Thomas Tuchel is reportedly at odds with club superiors over the future of midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

According to ESPN, the German is eager to select Rabiot despite the 23-year-old being jettisoned from the squad having refused to sign a new deal.

While the want away star is out of contract in the summer, Tuchel is eager to utilise his talent as PSG look to win the Champions League with the Ligue 1 title seemingly sewn up.

Leandro Paredes signed on Tuesday though PSG still look light in the centre of the park and are working to bolster their midfield ranks further still.

Everton appear to be holding firm on not selling Idrissa Gana Gueye while PSG could make late moves Julian Wiegl of Borussia Dortmund and Napoli’s Allan.

However, should they fail to bring in another midfielder, Tuchel is expected to force the issue on Rabiot being allowed back in from the cold.

Rabiot has not played for the club since appearing in the Champions League on December 11.
