Iceland claimed their first ever point in their first ever World Cup match on Saturday.

A 1-1 draw against the mighty Argentina was made even more sweet by the sight of goalkeeper Hannes Halldórsson saving a second half Lionel Messi penalty.

And the official Iceland account has confirmed that almost the entire country sat down to watch their boys in action at the weekend.

The North Sea nation has an official population of 334,252.
