We’re sure there’s a lot to love about life at Norwich but Onel Hernández’s favourite thing left us a little taken aback.

The Cuban-born winger loves Argos.

For anyone not familiar with the shop, it’s a little tricky to explain. You walk inside, there’s an enormous catalogue of almost anything you can think of.

You submit an order, then wait a while, then your item(s) appear like magic from a stock room.

When asked about life in the East Anglian city, Hernández couldn’t wait to tell the official club programme about his discovery.

“I’d never seen an Argos before in my life,” explained the winger, who started his career in Germany.

“I walked inside and saw the catalogue with things you can order.

“You can order bikes, TVs – we don’t have this in Germany.

“Argos has everything and I’ve never seen anything like this in my life before. When I need something, I buy it from Argos!”

And he’s not the only one. When his mum visited him, she “she bought a lot to take back to Cuba”, the 25-year-old explained.

His revelation clearly impressed the store and he has been sent some treats from the company’s CEO.

You honestly couldn’t make this up.
