Massimiliano Allegri is leaving Juventus after winning five Serie A titles and four Coppa Italia winners’ medals in just five years.

As if that wasn’t enough, he has also led the club to two Champions League finals.

Now we’re thinking: who should get him while they’ve got the chance?

It would be disloyal of Manchester United to admit that it probably isn’t going to work out with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and send him back to Norway just a couple of months after officially hiring him.

It would also be the smart thing to do, especially with a manager like Max Allegri on the market.

There’s an obvious red devil-shaped answer here, but I’m actually going to plump for Bayern Munich on this one.

The Bavarians limped over the line this season under Niko Kovač and could do with some of Allegri’s tactical nous and clear ideas.

Allegri is a pragmatist. He knows how to get the best out of his squad, he can change things mid-game and has trophy winning experience.

This is why he’s perfect for Chelsea. They don’t want philosophies and patience at Stamford Bridge. They want to win, and that’s what he does.

Roma. The job is open and if ever there was a big club in needed of a pragmatic coach with a proven track record who knows the division well then it is the Giallorossi.

Then again, it would represent an astute decision and that isn’t something they’ve excelled in of late.

With the news that Maurizio Sarri may potentially be heading in the other direction, Im going to go for Chelsea.

Their recent track record with managers is pretty poor, but bringing in someone with Allegri’s stature and giving him time could turn out to be a master stroke.

Real Madrid. Zinedine Zidane has done nothing to improve them since his return but now they’re going to buy him a whole new team to play with?

If you’re going to have a big ol’ rebuild, do it properly and get a new manager in as well.
