What a season it has been for stunning strikes across the continent.
So we ask the simple question: what was the pick of the bunch?
All I need is water, oxygen and Vincent Kompanyâs thunderbolt against Leicester.
Vincent Kompany didnât even score the best goal scored by a centre-back in the Premier League this season.
Take a bow, Fabian SchÀr.
Iâm going for this stunner from Chimy Ăvila.
I love the anticipation of him waiting for the ball to drop, before whacking a perfect volley into the corner.
(Skip to 42 seconds for the goal)
Is Chimy Avila's spectacular volley the goal of the season? đ„đ đș Highlights #HuescaEibar âÂ
As far as Goal of the Season goes, keep your title-winning strikes, forget the Champions League â the winner comes straight out of the Championship.
Regardless of the level, when you hit a 25-yard, left foot volley on the full and it flies in off the bar, thatâs a winner in my book.
John McGinn, take a bow.
You can keep your flicks, your team moves, your massive thwacks and your volleys â for me the ultimate way to score a goal is to see someone jink past four or five players and slot one past the goalkeeper.
And the ultimate expression of that this season came in the early rounds of the Carabao Cup as Chelsea beat Liverpool at Anfield.
A goal of the season that was scored on the edge of the six-yard box? Oh yes. The way NicolĂČ Zaniolo took his goal against Sassuolo was sublime and rubber-stamped his arrival.
Sprinting into the area and then flicking the ball inside was good. Leaving a defender and the goalkeeper on the deck with his slight hesitation was great. The deft chip over both was just gravy.
