The Premier League is back after the short hiatus for the international break and we couldn’t be happier about it.

The Good

Norwich City!

You could have made a starting XI for the Canaries of players Daniel Farke didn’t have available through injury.

Given that Manchester City were coming to town, it was a game which you could have forgiven the German for writing off.

Nobody expects anything at the best of times let alone when you have more players on the treatment table than in the dressing room.

But against all odds, the Canaries went at the champions, exposed their weaknesses at the back and fully deserved their 3-2 win.

It could be the ‘Bayern Munich result’ for a new generation of fans in East Anglia.

Tammy time

The age of Tammy Abraham has finally arrived at Stamford Bridge.

He joined the club at the age of eight and after three separate loan spells, is finally being given his chance this year.

And the 21-year-old has grabbed it with both hands or both feet and even his head or any other part of his body he can score with.

He is the purple patch of his life to shoot to the top of the Premier League scoring charts.

Each of his goals against Wolves showcased something different too and he’s a player who can hurt you in so many different ways.

The Bad

Everton’s attacking

After one goal in their opening three games, there was hope the floodgates would open for Everton after the 3-2 win over Wolves.

But the same old problems presented themselves in their defeat to Bournemouth on Sunday.

He may have gotten a goal but that can’t mask from another quiet outing in attack from Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

However, he wasn’t the only guilty party for the Toffees, who lacked any kind of cutting edge or end product throughout.

This was another worryingly blunt offensive outing and another game in which star summer signing Moise Kean started on the bench.

It is surely time to unleash him regularly, if only to inject some much-needed bite to the Everton attack.

What’s happening Wolves?

While Tammy Abraham hit the headlines with good reason at Molineux, things weren’t so positive for the home side.

The midlands club have looked good in Europe this season but have been surprisingly slack on domestic duty.

There were concerns that an already thin squad would struggled to cope with European commitments, having not strengthened a great deal during the summer.

Although the early fixture list hasn’t been particularly kind, you still wouldn’t have thought Wolves would be winless after five games.

The Ugly

Arsenal’s second half

After a good opening 45 minutes at Vicarage Road in which they built up a 2-0 lead, everything Arsenal did after that was disastrous.

Unai Emery opted for some bizarre substitutions as his side began to lose control, taking out Dani Ceballos and Matteo Guendouzi, while leaving Mesut Özil in the game far too long.

Bernd Leno and Sokratis refusing to learn from continuously flirting with disaster on their short goal-kicks became head-scratching before long.

They were punished for that too in schoolboy fashion, as was David Luiz for yet another moment of erratic defending.

This was tough to watch at times and yet it was all too predictable.
