Nine different clubs feature players on the list, as Flamengo and São Paulo FC each claimed two spots in our best XI.

SPFC bounced back from their loss at Grêmio they suffered on Thursday, as they defeated Cruzeiro 2-0 to win their fifth match from their last six games.

Flamengo dominated from the opening whistle as they defeated Sport 4-1 to keep their two-point lead in the Brasileirão.

Goalkeeper

After surviving 29 shots without letting the ball touch the back of the net, João Ricardo guaranteed his place under the crossbar. He earned the clean sheet in América-MG’s huge 1-0 win over Santos. Also, he saved Gabigol’s shot with his head! On purpose!

Defence

Réver scored for Flamengo and played fantastically in the back, as the rubro-negro allowed just one shot on goal.

Yago Pikachu once again scored a goal and was a constant presence on the right side. He now has six goals on the season.

Bruno Alves and Reinaldo each were solid as they helped lead São Paulo FC to a comprehensive 2-0 win over Cruzeiro.

Midfield

Bruno Henrique scored a brace for the second time in three rounds in Palmeiras’ 3-0 win over Paraná.

Yimmi Chará performed very well on the left side of the Atlético Mineiro midfield.

Marcelo Cirino scored Atlético Paranaense’s first goal in their 4-0 rout of Vitória.

Éverton Ribeiro completely dominated on the right wing, as he scored and had an assist in Flamengo’s 4-1 win.

Attack

Ángel Romero’s hat-trick allowed Corinthians to come from behind and defeat Vasco 4-1.

William Pottker appears in the squad for the second week in a row, after his first-half brace allowed Internacional to cruise to an easy 3-0 victory over Botafogo.
