Tammy Abraham maintains it’s his “dream” to break into Chelsea’s first team and hopes to secure a place in England’s World Cup squad.
The 20-year-old made his international debut for England in November and wants to board the plane to Russia.
Having risen through the ranks at Cobham, Abraham is also eyeing a starting role for the club he joined aged nine.
“If I got into the World Cup squad I would be knocking on the door at Chelsea,” he told ESPN.
“I have to finish [the season] strong, look to the World Cup squad this summer and then focus on Chelsea. My aim is to go back and do well with Chelsea.
“I like to believe Chelsea is where I will go through and do well. I have been there since I was six years old. My dream is to break into the first team.”
