Rangers boss Steven Gerrard won’t be resting on his laurels after a strong start to pre-season.
The Gers beat Oxford United 5-0 a week ago and recorded an impressive 4-0 win over Marseille on Sunday.
“We believe the quality is in the dressing room and now it is over to them,” Gerrard said after the match.
“I think individuals coming in will certainly help that and I think you can see the quality of the new signings straight away.
“They have hit the ground running and we are hoping Filip [Helander] will follow suit. So we are really pleased with how the squad is shaping up.”
But is the squad complete?
It doesn’t seem like Gerrard is completely satisfied just yet.
“We have had two or three windows now to improve things, and we are very close to where we want to be,” added the former Liverpool midfielder.
“But now we have got to go and do all the hard work now and produce that on a regular basis when the games come around.”
Rangers could still need to sign a striker this summer as they are willing to listen to offers for Alfredo Morelos.
