PSV Eindhoven winger Steven Bergwijn has cooled links to Manchester United, insisting he is in ‘no hurry’ to leave this summer.
Bergwijn enjoyed a productive 2018/19 campaign for the Eredivisie outfit, scoring 14 goals and assisting 12 in 38 appearances.
United have been named as potential suitors for the 21-year-old but they are yet to put forward any concrete interest.
“Manchester United are a good club, without a doubt,” he told De Telegraaf. “But I am only 21 years old and in no hurry to leave PSV.
“When you join a new club, a better team, you automatically raise your level because of the level of the other players on the pitch.
“If something good comes up, I’ll be ready for it. Otherwise I’ll be happy to stay at PSV.”
Bayern Munich and Arsenal have also been linked with Bergwijn, who is expected to cost €35m.
