Lionel Messi has scored an outrageous number of free-kicks in recent years but an international team-mate is coming for his crown.
The Barcelona star scored an amazing six direct free-kicks in LaLiga last season and has 17 in all competitions for Barça in the last three seasons.
But Ángel Di María is chasing him.
The PSG winger netted from a dead ball in the Trophée des Champions on Saturday and it’s becoming a bit of a habit.
Since the start of the year, the 31-year-old has taken nine free-kicks and scored four of them.
