Southampton’s Harrison Reed has been linked to a move to Championship side Nottingham Forest during the summer transfer window.

With Jack Colback potentially returning to Newcastle, Forest are looking to add strength to their midfield.

Reed played 33 matches on loan at Blackburn this past season, scoring three times and contributing six assists.

Nottingham Forest’s manager Martin O’Neill has made it clear that Reed is on his wish-list as a target this summer should the club not be able to bring back Colback for a third loan spell.

The 29-year-old midfielder has appeared in 54 Championship matches across his two spells with Forest.

Forest will have competition for Reed, however, as several other clubs have shown interest in the 24-year-old, including Premier League sides Norwich and Burnley.
