Bristol Rovers’ centre-back Alfie Kilgour has been absolutely sensational this season and now several clubs from England’s top-two tiers are now interested in his services.
Kilgour has made 44 starts for Rovers this season and, according to a report from Bristol Live, both Southampton and Bournemouth have sent scouts to track the player this season.
The publication also mentions that Championship outfits Queens Park Rangers and Millwall are also interested in the player, whose contract expires next summer after Kilgour signed an extension last summer.
The League One side will want a heavy fee for Kilgour as many supporters have tipped the player to become their new captain.
Southampton (52 goals allowed) and Bournemouth (47) are both in desperate need of a revitalised back-line and would be wise to go after the 21-year-old, even if it means sending him out on loan immediately.
