Sofiane Boufal has confirmed that he will be staying at Southampton this season.
Boufal – a club-record signing from Lille in 2016 – has struggled to establish himself at St Mary’s and spent last season on-loan at Celta Vigo.
And despite interest from Ligue 1 clubs, the 25-year-old insists he isn’t going anywhere.
“I would like to deny any information regarding a possible transfer this summer,” he relayed on Twitter.
“I am 100% focused on my loan club @SouthamptonFC and motivated to have a good season and help the club #comeonsaints”
After being excluded from the matchday squad against Liverpool last weekend, Boufal could be in line for a recall against Brighton on Saturday.
