Sheffield United sign Ravel Morrison

Sheffield United have officially confirmed the signing of former Manchester United midfielder Ravel Morrison.

Morrison started training with the Blades last month after leaving Östersunds FK, and has earned himself a one-year deal.

“Ravel is an undoubted talent and we are delighted that we have put together a deal that suits all parties,” said manager Chris Wilder.

“I’ve spoken to a number of people about him and it is clear that he has serious ability.

“We are getting a fantastic footballer with a tremendous pedigree, and we believe we can help him get back to the level he wants to be.”

The 26-year-old becomes their fourth summer signing after Luke Freeman, Phil Jagielka and Callum Robinson.
